Default 150k dd

150k 01 formula a4 car runs great just been looking and cam swaps but was thinking I've seen some people on here diy for just a little more than a cam swap

The big question is I want to no if I should even be considering turbocharging this car that I daily drive that ha 150k on stock long block

You will be at least 3 times higher than a cam swap for doing a proper turbo kit even if you do it all your self. Not to mention you have a tired engine. start with a cam. Then save up for a motor and turbo kit

Do u think a cam swap at this many miles will be ok..

the engines themselves are good for well beyond 120k. I'm with SRAYED...You could always put a cam in and enjoy that until you want to rebuild and turbo.

I would think putting a cam in would be harder on the motor just because any of the cams I like spin well past 6500and the body end would come apart quicker than 5lbs of boost from a turbo

If I was to leave a stock came in it on low boost I wouldn't have to spin the motor past 6200
