how is your pcv set up?
Used to run the stock Incon PCV system, which gets rid of the breather and run a line to just behind the air filter. This works well for crankcase evacuation during boost but sucks a lot of oil into the inlet line, out line and intercooler. With a oil seperator (or come off the baffled connectionon the valve cover) no more oil out of the valve cover.

Buschman.... Sure the car comes with a Catch Can from the 1 Driver side and 2 Passenger vents combined to the catch can then vent to the open air. Sure.... Sure.... Just seeing if you would give me props... Anyway.. Do some research.. The Check Valve mod does work, but the only problem I have with that setup is when your at WOT the check valve closes so it won't let any boost go into the engine, what lets the engine let out excess vapor. Think of it this way. The engine need to vent most when???? "Under WOT" But the check valve won't let it. If your blocking off boost from entering the motor under WOT the engine needs to vent off the PCV vapors the most during the WOT pulls that you do. Now I know that people are running check valves on very fast Buick GN and others, but I like my setup. Mine is to a catch Can then to the open air, so there is no way to burn oil or oil vapor (which does cause a slight lean condition in the combustion chamber). Venting off the valve covers itself is just fine with me as well, kinda old school. The problem it any oil or water could make a mess and get on your hot headers. The catch can would catch all that...
