Another front mount thread.....help
Another front mount thread.....help I know there are several already out but I am looking fo r the most up to date info I can get. What is the largest intercooler y'all are running? What iat's? Who makes the most efficient freest flowing units? What's better in and outlets on the sides or top and bottom? I want the room to grow later down the road and the d1 will be pushed pretty hard as is. Also pics of installs would be great.
31x12x4 is the largest FMIC we use I believe. From what I have read the ones that flow from the bottom to the top are the best. Treadstone intercoolers are supposed to be good. I can get an intercooler off eBay fow about 100 bucks or I could spend 700 for a name brand intercooler. The name brand intercooler will be a little bit better but I wouldn't think it would be that much better. We are probably talking 10 horsewpower maybe... Take the other 600 and get a real nice meth injection setup and gain 100+ horsepower.
