another guess HP and ET thread...

curious as im new to the ls world what does everyone think this will make at rear wheels and go et wise. 370CI, pt88 t4 flange with 4" DP and electric cutout, stage 3 ported 317's, custom futral turbo cam, forged bottom end, victor junior intake, 90mm nick williams TB, intakeelbows upper,converted mustang headers and custom crossover, 80lb injectors, dual fuel pumps, th350 trans with custom 9.5" PTC convertor, 3.42 rear....this is all controlled with a FAST XFI unit. car will be running right around 20psi/16 degrees timing on meth injection. its all in a 3550lb 87 regal already set up for drag racing with cage and full suspension on slicks. i have heard a few people close to me mention what it should go but im still curious as to what you guys think. reason for asking is im coming up close to getting it done and am getting excited. thanks guys

if it doesnt go mid-low 9s something is wrong. i dont see why it shouldnt dip into the 8s either

thats what i have been told that it should dip into 8's and go low low 9's with some ease

im betting you have to do more than slap a gasket down to keep from pushing water at 9.0

yeah with the ls9 gaskets and arp studs at 85lbs i know i can only get away so much before gaskets go but thats part of the game....

Depending on how well the engine is sealed up, cam and head flow you could have the power for mid to high 8's but getting it there might take a bit of dialing in.
