What is this and do i need it??? haha

can anyone tell me what this is, and if i need it with my procharger build.. its the black hard hose with the white clip coming out of the intake , that goes to the black box with the wired connector

well if your talking about the short plastic hose and round plastic solenoid with the plug in it, thats the EVAP, it pulls the gas fumes out of the gas tank and feeds them into the intake. You dont have to keep it

im doing a lonnies performance complete fuel system with the dual intank pumps. is it better to keep it? or delete it?

put a check valve in line between the manifold and solenoid, im not sure if it has one internal or not

So you don't bleed off boost and pressurize your fuel tank, thats the idea anyway.

I kept the EVAP solenoid on my TT cts-v build, but haven't put in a check valve yet. I blew through the hose and it seemed to be closed.

now Im kind of interested to find out if it needs a valve or not, mine is laying on the floor so next time I think about it ill check it with regulated shop air
