And because I see many people have success with CXRacing intercooler, I want to give it a try
P.S. I measured the core and it wasn't even 4", more like 3.5

I think treadstone intercoolers are superior; if not in flow rates, in build quality for sure. I would go with their TRV25 or TRV259 vertical flow IC. If you are able to flow straight into your Intake over the radiator with a TRST this is where the LS1 motors make their best power.

I'm just stating options... plus there's a Nissan in your signature, I thought maybe it's LS1 swapped and what this thread is about. In the LS1 RX7 world there are a few guys running 45 degree radiators with intakes over the front.

Mine says godspeed on it.. Is that the same as the CXracing? I got mine on ebay a few years ago. Its core size is 24x12x4.

Thanks! I see where's the problem with my setup - my turbo is mounted in front of the engine so rad is moved forward and there's no space for IC outlet to go over it without cutting upper rad support and putting higher WS6 hood

i run a ebay 4" core on mine. 15lbs i made 650 ish wheel on a lazy timing curve. thats threw a th400, 3800 stall, 28" drag radials.
i only stoped because i ran out of injector.
at 900 wheel im sure it is a restriction compared to a open pipe. but comapred to a high dollar unit? im sure it dosent flow as well. but from a cost stand point. you get what you pay for.
but you will never see 900 whp with that tc78

Well I didn't sign contract to keep TC78 forever At the very least, Precision 76HPS would fit in there for not much more $$$. And if I'm lucky and heads stay bolted even at 1200HP, I'd just move rad further away, or replace stock fans with thinner, and put T6 in there.
In short, I WOULD LIKE, IF POSSIBLE, to see some 10-20% reserve with current 1000HP rated turbo

@ Vetal.
Are you looking for an identical replacement, or a custom unit to be made, or simply a better core for your existing end tanks ?
Can you do any fabrication yourself ?
There are plenty of companies in the UK that can make complete units, or just supply you a core to weld onto your existing end tanks
As others have said, if you genuinely believe the core is the problem, then it is throwing money away just buying another cheap Chinese core which will be identical.
Another option might be if you can find an aftermarket IC as used on Nissan Skylines, as generally they are pretty big with well designed end tanks. The biggest failing on all the cheap chinese cores is the terrible end tank design which does nothing to promote even or good flow through the actual core.
Even if you were to cut them off and add maybe an inch or so of a spacer to give the end tank more volume it would help flow.
