First off, if it's a cnc'd peice, it's going to cost more than $30-$40, just for the time alone on the equipment.

Well, I cnc'd one out of 1/2" lexan over the weekend to test the idea. Only problem is I have a 6.0 with LS7 water pump so it is hard for me to mock up.
Does the rear cover have to be off the truck alternator for this to work? It seems like it will have to be.

This is a bracket I made for my 5.3 Mustang swap, I wasn't going to use P/S and only needed an Alt, so this is what I came up with, it pivots on one of the tensioner mounts and has been on for about three months without issue.
