Alternator mount pics
Alternator mount pics I came up with this bracket so I could relocate my large truck (145 amp) alternator up on the passenger head. I didn't want to have to run a smaller alternator as I've had issues with the stockers and no one had anything that I liked. This is my first revision and I will be altering the setup slightly for a final version. Here is what I have for now, tell me what you think. Tucks in nice with the large truck alt.

Verdad Gallardo I don't plan on selling them but if I find some extra material laying around when I make my next bracket (will have some engraving) maybe I will whip something out. I wouldn't sell them but I could give a few away if I have time to make some.

Very nice indeed! Any belt slippage with your piece yet? I still have belt walking problems with my relocation braket.

The truck alternator is a AD244 145 amp alternator that is far superior to the stock 105 junker. It can bolt diretly in place to the factory alternator bracket but it requiers a slightly longer belt and it also uses the same 4 pin plug in. I cannot imagine the belt slipping or being out of alignment as I took precise measurements to ensure the pulley depth was reloacted to the same depth as stock. My car won't be driveable for about a month or so, but I do not see why it would slip as it has quite a bit of tension.
I can get you guys all the X, Y and Z dimensions if you want. My X zero Y zero is the alternator pivot bolt going into the head.
