lt1 vs ls1
lt1 vs ls1 Ive got a 95Z that i want to build a 150mph car out of full weight everything working. So im debating weather to build a lt1 or swap to ls1, Problem with ls1 is the pushing water/cost, dont want togo aftermarket block, swapping k members and wiring. lt1 problem is ive got to swap to a ls1 pcm and nobody makes a nice turbo kit for them.
will be a 6 speed
Im guessin 900 hp will work. Id like todo a ls1 with aps tt kit, id simply hate todo that and be worried about pushing water every time i dog on it.

you wont have problems pushing water at that level.
you can meet your goal with the lt1, you'll just need a turbo kit. good luck with the 6 speed though. im guessing by 150mph you mean in the 1/4. i'd strongly suggest a th400, powerglide, or 4l80e.
