Intercooler ?'s

I just bought an sts kit and i am planning on only running 5lbs of boost for right now. I have a procharger twin cooler for the kit. i was told it was going to take some modifying to get the ic to work with this sts kit. My question is do i have to run an intercooler or can i get away with out one. I know that it would be best to use one and i need it to take full advantage of the kit. Any help is greatly appriciated.

Buy a inter cooler form frozen boost I belive its the 32x somthing and be done with it its only 100 bucks or so .I push dam near 900 hp to the wheels with it.

You think it will be easier to mount up and run with my sts kit opposed to my procharger twin kit?

At 5psi you should be fine with good tuning. But if you get an ebay one for a hundred or so bucks you could push 7-8psi with a few valvetrain upgrades on problem. That is one ebay part that has definitely worked out very well for many people.
