5.3 t-72 build, e85?
5.3 t-72 build, e85? im doing the budget 5.3turbo build,T72/.96 ar, 317heads,z06cam,(arp studs,heads,rods,main caps) ls1 intake, &tb,air to water IC, injectors ??? over 100lbs, th400 9.5tc 3400stall, 3.73 gears. all this goin into my 99z28,,, my ? is what inj should i start lookin into?, would the z06117.5 lsa cam take me that hp goal? fuel system? i was thinkin of runnin an external FPmagnum 500 with an aluminum fuel cell, im open to any ideas,opinions. thanks ls1-tech.
First thing depending on your plans with the car ditch your 3:73 gears and get a lower set 3:08-3:31 range area. Injector size depends on your hp goal. If you wanting to stay around 550-600 a set of 80lb injectors should work with e-85. If you want higher hp your better off going to a low imp injector and buy a driver unless you wanna spend $1,000 on some 120lb bosch. Pretty much need to know your goals of the car before anyone can answer your questions.
