the standard valve wont suffice very well for boost over 8-10psi. And that is about the minimum boost you will get from an F1 blower.

The standard Pro-Flow bypass valve works very well up to around 14 psi, past that you need a larger valve as there is more air to relieve.

Here is an older copy of the installation manual. http://www.ls1.com/ed/procharger_owners_manual.pdf Several things have changed in it, such as the pn# for the aftermarket harmonic balancer, which is now pn# 918853. Disregard the fmu (fuel management unit) section. Bob

Why does it seem the larger blowers D1 and such have an extended tip of the impeller and the the smaller ones don't seem to? Just curious

chad what r the dual IC's
and do i need to get the superdampner to get this system to work or could i get away without it for right now. Budget is getting close and would like to get it on the road but dont wana mess anything up at the same time.
Since you have that adapter hub you won't need to get the super-dampner. However it is recommended that you get one if you plan to boost the car past 10psi.

If you do you the adapter, the SDCE crank pulley bolts onto that adapter hub using 3 bolts, those 3 bolts will also hold that assembly in place against the 3 fins on the stock crank pulley. You'll also need to get a longer crank bolt from Procharger.

Procharger also sells a pinning kit for the stock crank setup. It costs ~$90 new and is highly recommended. You drill into the front of the crank and insert a pin to prevent slipping of the pulleys on the crank.

Does your crank have a keyway in it? If so, just go ahead and get the ATI superdamper since it has a keyway also. Hell, I'd recommend getting it anyways even if your crank was stock.
