Default cam for boost

i know you can use like a stock ls6 cam and stuff like that. but im looking for a choppy cam and still be good for boost is there anything out there

Ive always been told a choppy cam is not good for boost.

if you want a choppy cam, just buy a choppy cam.

bob do you have any suggestions for a turbo at about 9psi on a 6.0? i want a smooth idle. i too am sick of looking for this unicorn they call the $100 ls6 cam. same one?

where did you find the zo6 cam for $105 @??

Brand new LS9 is $150 or less. It's a no brainer really.

cam sensor is on the other end . apparently you need cam gear, timing cover etc.

Ahh rite, didnt realise it didnt have the trigger on the camshaft itself like older stuff.

Just richen the idle A/f up some... it will make any mild cam seem bigger...lol.

On a side note... you should be building it for performance and efficiency... not how choppy it sounds.

reminds me of one time at the track getting my Nova off the trailer.... fired it up and it sounded like a stock motor home or school bus...lol. A couple guys with a "race car" started laughing and made a few rude comments how weak it sounded. ...after making a pass the dudes came up with a pretty confused look on their faces. as I was running quite a bit better than their loud and wicked sounding race car.
