Default s91 vs. gt91

Im gonna put together a turbo piece in a friends car which consists of a 418ci ls3 with ported ls3 heads..

im having trouble finding info comparing these two turbos, as of now my understanding is that they will make around the same power, the gt unit is packaged smaller, and the gt unit can be had with a 1.23a/r hot side..

does anyone have any good info for me on which unit would be ideal

A lot of variables off the table..
plans for the car track/strip/street
Drivetrain
rear/suspension
motor details
Power goals
E85 or gas/meth
Front mount/ Rear Mount

just out of power potential i would go with the S91 with a 1.32 T6 housing, if your friend is worried about spooling *which shouldnt be a problem with the cubes listed* he could run a spool valve and have the best of both worlds.

I would get intouch with Forced inductions and ask them what they would run, they might even recommend something like the s88HP

been hearing that the gt91's are always back ordered ^^^^ guessing what gsxr is talking about

well i have a friend with a new gt91 and hes not using it for a while so that wouldnt be an issue, and were gonna run e85

Check that turbo out. Mine had issues right out of the box. Also a tip for the gt-91 is- the garret Gt-47/55 v-band downpipe flange will fit the gt-91. Racepartssoultions.com has them in stock if Jose can't get them.
