Default Need advise on intake
Hello fellow car enthusiasts..
I've reached my boiling point with my existing intake. It's a polished weiand
That has the access plate on the bottom. Did I mention I run a twin turbo system?.with 18 psi the intake is blowing the access plate gasket..I've replaced the plate with a S.S. Plate with double the thickness. And bigger bolts..I have an LS6 in the car now.stock sized throttlebody
So my question to you guys is what are you using?..

I've been looking at the "Fast" intakes..but I remember something I read in the past that they have issues with boost applications..can anybody confirm or deny this?

Yea fasts aren't the best. On my build im selling my fast 92 for a victor jr

Are you going with a blow thru carb?.. I have the stock throttle body that I'd like to retain if possible.

Victor Jr. EFI for me. you can use the stock T/B if you want.

the new fast intakes can handle boost plenty of cars with 20 pounds and no issues, vic jr requires a new elbow and you would have to modify the charge pipe
