Not at all. As a side note. The rear most primary interferes with the upper control arm on the passenger side. I had to cut that one up and move it inboard about 1". Everything else cleared just fine.

You have any specs/manufacturer/etc on the intercooler that you are running?
Does it fit in with the stock hood latch bracing, or did you have to re-do that?
What about intake and outlet positioning on it?
Sorry for all the questions, I'm working on a 69 and doing a Vortech on it and need to figure out a FMIC for it.

The intercooler is a Chinese one. I believe the core is 26x3x12. It's the biggest one I could fit between the headlight doors. I would have preferred one 4" thick, but that wouldn't fit behind the grill. They are all over Ebay for about $150. The radiator is in front of the core support. Between it and the intercooler they occupy all the space that the hood hold down brackets used to occupy. We converted the car over to hood pins. With putting the turbo in front of the crank pulley there wasn't any place else for the radiator. If you went with headers from Virginia Speed or made your own you could get the turbo over where the battery would go. That would let the radiator stay in it's original location.
The intercooler outlets are on the bottom. If you look you can see them a little in the head-on picture. I welded tight radius cast elbows on the end of the tanks. The are pointed down on about a 45 degree angle. That lets the pipes run under the core support.
You could fit that intercooler in the nose of your car and keep all the normal hood latch stuff.
Intercooler:
24x12x4 core
Tight radius cast AL elbow:
cast elbow
The intercooler outlets are on the bottom. If you look you can see them a little in the head-on picture. I welded tight radius cast elbows on the end of the tanks. The are pointed down on about a 45 degree angle. That lets the pipes run under the core support.

My radiator will remain in the stock location so I'll have to measure the area.

The radiator is nothing fancy. It's just a drop in aluminum one from Ebay. They are about $300.
The turbo is water cooled because it's a Garrett ball bearing unit. I've had good luck with them in the past so we decided to try one on this car.
Progress has been slow lately. My wife had a baby girl 3 weeks ago. The car didn't make Power Tour... The first wiring harness turned out to be garbage and had multiple shorts to ground. It has since been replaced by a techrods harness. That should be finished up this weekend. Everything is back together except for some wiring terminations inside the car, and it still needs an exhaust. I made a 4" to twin 3" merge over the weekend so now we can run the tailpipes toward the back. New plan is to have it running for Woodward in 3 weeks. Then it will head down to the owner's house in Indiana.
I'll post some pictures up later this week.

Put a couple strut rods from the back of the flange down to the bottom of the timing chain cover. We also cut out the hard pipe on the driver's side and installed a bellows.

Finally got started on the exhaust. This will convert the 4" turbo out to twin 3" pipes that should be more manageable under the car. I took a 4" tube and collapsed it in the vice down to 3"x5" approximately. Then I cut some 3" tube on an angle and flared the edges like the merge into the turbo. It seemed to work out pretty well.

And since I was taking pictures here's one of my 97 Sonoma with a built LS1. It put down 436whp NA through a T56. My dad put the truck together back in 2002.
