Default What pistons and cam?

I am about to rebuild my 408. Debating of going FI in the near future. I will be looking at running some l92 heads. What piston's should I use and what cam would be recomended. I am not able to afford to boost it just yet but I will hopefully be able to buy a turbo k-member right now. My car is an 01 WS6 with a walbro 255 fuel pump. I have green top 42# injectors. What else should I do while I have it apart?

Well judging by other ppl's setups those 42lbers and that one warlboro wont be enuff fuel for ur cubes. Im sure that u will need atleast twin walboros. Not sure on injectors tho.
If u dont already have them I would go for some arp 2000 rod bolts and mainstuds assuming that u have some h-beam rods. Manley, eagle, scat etc...
Diamond racing pistons are a well known piston.
Some ppl make over 800rwhp with these brand pistons.

Goodluck!

So twin walbro's and maybe bigger injectors. I have ARP rod bolts and I will go with ARP head stud's.I also have H-beam rods. What cc piston would be ideal for an LS3 heads? Like -8cc or -20cc? I am currently using 8cc wiseco's on Eagle Rods with a scat crank.

I'm running -20 CC pistons in my 402ci lq9 with l92 heads it'll be around 9.3:1 CR. Ill be running a t6 88mm Turbo and should make 800rwhp with 15 Psi or less. I have a custom Cam from comp 230 238 575 585 on 114. If you want to run e85 you could bump the compression up to say 10.5 and make the same power with 10 Psi. Either way the limiting factor would be these heads as they can start lifting at around 800 rwhp.

What makes these heads different than others? I think about 750-800 rwhp would be some of the top of what I am looking for. I would be happy with 700 hp.
