Our TT kit is FINALLY done.....
As far as our intercooler choice is concerned, we have covered this issue many times. Most notably in the link below:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...bo-kit-14.html
It shouldn't be an issue we used very thick runners, they are schedule 40 weld L's it shouldn't crack very easily at all.
To Chad:
We will have installed pics this weekend, we are installing it on the first customers car Saturday.
Very true, but if someone tries to copy and sell it. Just looking out. One heck of a nice system there. Congrats.

2nd is that the heat exchanger for the A/W setup that lays flat to the ground between the k member and a/w intercooler? If so the in/ out look much much to small for the water lines, but i cant tell really. What size are the water lines? and how many gallons of water does the tank hold? And what water pump is used? Personally A/W setups are not ideal for many street driven cars because once they get hot, they stay hot.
Overall though not a bad price for everything considering, congrats on finally getting it done guys.

How many cars come from the factory with A/W's compared to A/A's?
-W
I have done several street driven cars with a/w setups and many with a/a and hands down the a/a are better overall for street driven cars from my experience. a/a may heat up when idling but your not in boost or needing low iats then, as soon as you start moving and getting on it, iat's will pretty much instantly drop where they need to be.
All of my A/W set ups have been large pt-2400 or pt-3000 coolers with close to 10 gallons and minimum rule 3700/4000 pumps with at least 3/4" hose, with large dedicated 12x12x2 all alum heat exchangers/ spal fans. So they are using very high quality parts.
Only reason i asked is the exchanger looks like a trans cooler with 3/8" tubes. which would be so much of a restriction even a small pump wouldnt be efficient.
I am not in any way saying a a/w is a bad choice as i have done many a/w setups and mainly because of packaging and some cars cant have the airflow needed for a a/a. Most every c5 vette i have done has been a/w because of packaging issues of a a/a. I just thought their a/w setup might be insufficient in some areas and thought i would add my experience.
Seriously though, good job again on packing all of this, thats a serious feat to make it production and not just one off custom set ups per application.
