LS9 Cam

You can search all over the internet and ask on 100 different forums and there seems to be no actual data where anyone is using it with turbos. You can get it for about $110 or something like that from GM parts direct. I got one and am tempted to dyno it just to see, its quite a mystery! I figure it'd have to make good power, any cam will, I just wonder if it makes the turbos spool slowly with the huge seperation.

Yes were doing our own tunning. I have read everything about cost, pricing, etc... But, I was thinking someone has to had tried this or is using this cam in there turbo motor. Im not a cam expert, but have somewhat of a understand of them. And was thinking this would make a nice streetable, well mannard cam, that would make great power while still getting very good MPG.

that is basically what LPE says on their site. This is so close to what they use to offer, that they just stopped offering the LPE grind and use this exclusively. They can't compete with mass manufacturing on this part. So I'm with you, don't think there is any experimenting here. It is a 3bolt cam, but does need the different covers. That is the only reason I'd say if you want stock, go used ls6, and save about $200. otherwise a new ls6 cam is 289 at summit.
