[UPDATE ON PAGE 2, #27] Messing around in Photoshop today and came up with this. Have any of you seen this done before?

No cant say I have but I like the look. Try to cover the coolers with some type of black honeycomb that match the stock hood ports.

Where do you plan to put the turning lamps?

Good idea!

Overrated... Around here people never see my turn signals because they pay NO attention to their mirrors or my signals (which are 5 seconds minimum, on avg), and 1/4 of the time people don't even see my car and almost run me over. I could put some switchback LEDs in the nostrils if necessary.

P.S. It's been this way since I bought it in 05.

LED'S Behind the honeycomb or incorporated into the opening. That or some other type of light just below the intercoolers about the same width.

Just one of those items that are required to avoid poblems with the law.

It looks damn good. I'm not sure how large of an actual intercooler would fit in there though. It would have to be kind of small and at the same time not rated for much power.

My max goal with this type of intercooler setup would be around 600-650 wheel... Is that feasible? I am also strongly considering methanol and nitrous for that goal...

Nope. Leaving the plate cover there, because I want to be able to run a front plate (I have a custom one that I find humorous), and not get front license plate tickets like my buddy 98BLOWNZ28.

You'd basically be running something like the procharger twin 4.5 intercoolers or similar. Something of that nature will support 600-650rwhp. Intmd8's old LT1 twin turbo car had two intercoolers in a similar nature and it made around 1000rwhp.

Split the air and run the intercoolers in parallel instead of series. Will increase cooling and require less intercooler core size to flow.

I dont wanna be the one to burst ur bubble but im pretty sure u cant run the d1sc thru those style intercoolers in series, im pretty sure they are designed to split the cfm thru each one, I dont think there designed to run that much cfm thru each of them individually.

These wouldn't be the stock Procharger intercoolers. They would be custom/eBay.

i would just recommend you figure a way to incorporate the turn signals.

find a cop on in bad day and he will begin poking around the car. finding more issues wrong (plates, EMISSIONS, etc).

that's just me though
