yes i know i could of fixed it cheap and been back on the road... but i wanted to find a reason to build and there is was just a lil broken flexplate and starter.
a bit of background
i bought the car , a yellow 2004 GTO a4, in nov 08 while home on leave and drove it out to cali.. car ran a 14.1 bone stock.. not happy at all wi that.. so spring of 09 she got a TSP torquer 3 cam 3600 stall kooks long tubes and cnc ls6 heads.. she ran 12.7s like that and i still wasnt happy.
summer of 09 i picked up a zex wet kit for 300 and pull 4* of timing and headed to the track... buy the end of the year she ran 11.4x and i was happier. yes all of this was on a stock 4l60 back.. i had a set of drag bag and some bias ply ET street..

Keep this good work up bro! Are you assembling the motor yourself?
I am getting the short block done by a speed shop here in cali. Its a buddy of mine. He knows his **** and is one hell of a tuner of ls stuff for being a mustang guy.
The rest I am goin to do myself.

Builder called. 7 cyl are done... almost ready to pick up. But he filed one of the rings out to far. Ring set is on its way from wiseco and should have the short block about wed of next week
The TC units are great little units, but if you want low 10s in our cars, you're going to be right at or past the limit on that turbo. I'm looking to go bigger right now.
I want to get this car done so I can burn the 95. Eagle talon to the ground and all its headaches.
