Just heard from PTC yesterday, the converter is ok less a bit of bearing wear. They're doing a full refresh on it and will be sending it back soon. Trans also ended up being just fine....

The search continues! But for now, I'm on vacation.

I noticed the crossovers coating peeling while the trans was out so I took it out to have the coating fixed. When I went to install it, I found that all 3 mating surfaces were not sealing due to warping or welds that protruded above the mating surfaces. I had them all milled flat and reinstalled everything.

So far, the car seems to do well on the street. Haven't been able to get it back on the dyno yet to know for certain that it is fixed and making the power it should...

The trans ended up being inspected and deemed healthy, as was the converter.

i had a dyno pull exactly like your, took a long time to figure it out, but my external crank trigger was off and big stuff 3 needed to be adjusted. bottom line the motor was seing 3* timing and the pcm was saying it was 15*, i think your issue is timing related.

When you get it back up and running, if you still have the same issue... Just try and install a new battery.. I have seen where a battery seems good and starts no problem... But becomes an issues at high rpm.. Trust me I couldnt believe either when it happen

MSD wires were all ohmed out at 11-12ohms. New ones were installed JUST IN CASE. No impact.
I got my bet on the MSD's. Even the brand new ones. I've seen it several times tuning. I only run GM Red hot wires on my builds. #12495519

Last vette I tuned was a H/C LS2 and at WOT it felt like valve float or a rev limiter. Pulled the perfect looking MSD wires off threw on a set of GM red hots I had on the shelf and it pulled to 7k rpm smooth as glass.

90% of ignition problems are realized cause you get misfires etc. Plug issues will not hit a flat line like this the motor will still gain rpm just will be lazy doing it. I think it is one of two things. Valvetrain float will do this. Sounds like it is tearing the dyno out of the ground and then just flat lines. The other is a fuel problem. I say fuel problem because he said it had 16 ms pulsewidth then switched computers and it went to 12 to 13 ms. 12 to 13 ms makes me think the fuel system is maxed out. I'm with the guy who said lower the boost and see if it will go. Cause then you could get the rest of your setup to match what you have on the fuel system. Please tell me this doesn't have an A1000.

The car has a nasty performance stage 3 setup in it with 80# injectors. Should be more than enough fuel system to get up near 4 digits.

The crossover was leaking pretty severely on all 3 flanges. I had them milled flat and so far, the car seems to run much better. Waiting for a dyno slot to prove its running right now.

Basically, right now, I think these issues all go back to pre-turbo exhaust leaks.

I had it on the street tuning around 20psi and lifted a head. It's apart right now getting LS9 gaskets and I'll be torquing down the heads to 90psi this time with ARPs lube.

Then its basically straight to the dyno once its back together again.
