Shouldve gone front mount :p

Most of us run 317s, 60-80# injectors, and stock ls6 intake. You could upgrade the intake to a Vic Jr or a GMPP FI.

You can make that kinda hp with either of those engines and the PT88. What kind of budget do you have?

If you're on a budget, I'd go with 243 heads if you're going to run E85, and 317s for gas.

Stick with the stock LS6 intake for that hp.

Injectors will depend on what fuel you want to run. 80s would be a minimum. If you want to run E85, I'd go 160s.

Use stock manifolds, and wrap all of the hot side pipes.

It's going to be a touch laggy. You won't have much backpressure worries with the turbo in the back. E85 would help spool a bit.

Good luck.

Most people will choose to build their OWN rearmount kit over an STS for "HIGH" hp.

Reason being, piping is too small, their is alot of ground clearence to be had from a custom setup, and stepping pipe sizes, etc. The STS kit just has far to many flaws for a "HIGH HP" build.

I would suggest if you are set on a rearmount turbo, Search "ZOMBIE Rearmount turbo saga" and begin reading.

Also, Longrange4u has lots of info here as well.

You will probably want all 2.5" cold piping, your turbo outlet is likely to be 3" so you will need a reducer. all 3" exhaust, minimize joints/leaks. Zombie had his all fabbed welded together. talk to some turbo guys to see about the pt88 making you that power...not sure on that. you will want ~75~80LB injectors, a really nice intercooler, some really nice heads, cam combo. FAST 102mm intake would work...don't know what its boost limits are, but it is a polymer/plastic intake...maybe a Vic Jr or something.

others chime in. there is a lot in the setup of this...

a pt88 in the rear seems like it would be a laggy ****. i kyou could reach your goals with a smaller sized turbo that would spool quicker

If your set on a pt88 look into a quick spool valve

Everyone says this, but me and a few others are the only ones I know running them. I think it's because big turbos usually don't have divided housings available. PT88 = no divided housing. Last time I talked to Forced Inductions Jose told me the BW units were as big as they went and they had comp wheels up to 83mm.

That pt88 is going to be really laggy unless you do everything exactly right.

i know of a guy with a homemade quick spool valve on his BW st80 and it works great, but his is a front mount turbo

And as zombie said, you need to do everything right and keep as much velocity as possible to spool that bad ****! 2.5" piping from the y pipe back might be your best bet

You need to keep as much heat in as possible, 2.5" does that by having less surface area than 3". My setup ran 3".
