Default Water cooled turbo guys, how to run lines/hoses??

I'm going to be running a water cooled turbo. It has 3/8 fittings in it to hook up line or hose. I was just thinking of running.2 hoses to a tee spliced into the heater hoses. Will that work and if so where do I find tees that are 5/8 and 3/4 that go down to 3/8? Also is heater hose ok or should I do steel braided?

I just picked up the T's you are talking about at a local auto parts store. They had them hanging on the wall. I think it was $10 for 2 of them. I'm planning to just grab the heater core lines.

Really? Which store and what sizes did you get? Plastic or metal?

It was a local store called Maaza. They aren't a chain. I think the main pipe size was something like 5/8ths. They are plastic. I'll look to see who makes them and post a PN tonight or tomorrow.

I would imagine it would work as the heater core does. One hose flows in and the other out

you can't just slap some hoses on their from the heater core and expect it to work correctly

ideally you want it setup almost like a tank heater on a block so that convection currents still move coolant when then the engine is off, and continue pulling heat from the bearing assembly

Im open to suggestions. This is what I was told by the turbo builder. I just always like to check in on tech for other ideas.

How about this. Im runing coolant tubes to the front and rear heads for cooling. Its a modified tube from the earlier year cars. Then I have it tapped right into the radiator under the cap for a return. I could run the return back to the turbo as a feed then the return from turbo to the radiator.
