LS3 heads?
I am building a forged LS2 short block and planning to use LS3 heads, but have been reading they have issues pushing water. Is this an issue at high boost or just an issue period? I haven't ironed out the final details yet but my set up will most likely be what mentioned above with a Vortech T trim around 12-14psi (around 700-750rwhp at most), and bolt ons. Would it be worth the extra money to just go to LSA heads for the thicker deck?

I don't see a problem at 12 to 14 psi of boost, it's been done on many builds without any problems. Bob

That's what I was thinking, it was just in my search I thought I saw someone at right over 700 say they were but I seen a lot of people do it without issue. I guess there are plenty on stock LS3 cars over 700. I will also be using ARP studs.

I wouldn't worry until about 800 HP. Plenty of guys have pushed them over 900 but its just a matter of how long it lasts at that power level. Ill be using l92 heads and as long as I keep it under 800 I think it'll be fine. I'm using arp studs also.
