Default spark plug choice for boost

I'm fixing to start tuning on my turbo motor, I currently have an autolight racing plug ar-472 which is the coldest plug they make in it. But it doesn't seem to like them very well, its already killed a set of plugs (2-4hrs run time) it was on the rich side at first but I've about got it leaned out enough now. I have read the ngk-tr6's is a good starting point? Just wanna confirm with my setup.

5.3 iron block punched to 5.7 with all forged internals
9:1:1 compression
60-1 precision turbo, starting out @ 5psi but will tune for 20-25psi
Water intercooler
Blow through carb
Msd 10mm wires
Stock ls truck coils
93 octain pump gas

Also curious between platinum and irid plugs
This is also a street driven car so I want a plug its not going to kill everytime I get on the 2step or transbrake.

Plug choice depends on how much power you are looking to make.
Go with a NGK Non -projected tip plug. R5671A-8. This is a gasketed plug also. However you can get them without gaskets as well.

Well my power really is going to vary on what I can hook up. I'm guessing in the 550-620whp range. Its just in a little 240sx car and a 10.5 radial.

NGK BR7EFS

That 60-1 will not like 20-25 psi on a 5.7. At all.

I'd tune for ~500whp on that turbo if you want it to last. Gonna need a bigger turbo for 600+ whp.

I run 1/8th mile cause there is no 1/4 mile tracks within 4hrs of me, the guys running the 70+mm turbo's have been getting SPANK! By the guys running the 60's, they come to life so much quicker there is no catching up. That's why I went with a smaller turbo, idk wat its gonna like or want until I get it on the dyno and see were it wants to fall off. Then will tune it in from there. I'm just guessing #'s right now based on my last setup, I don't really see a problem of making 600hp if I need it.

Go with the TR7 as mentioned above with thay HP level. The 8 will be to cold for you. You could actually get away with a TR6 as well. Alot of guys run the TR6's at your power level as well.

Unless that 60-1 has a giant turbine wheel, it's going to be done by 5000 rpm. Pushing it much harder is just going to lead to premature death and higher IATs.

If the 1/8th mile is your primary concern, there are ways to light a much larger turbo off the line.

I'm pretty sure its not ur average turbine wheel, it sounds like a 80+mm turbo spooling. Will get it on the dyno and see wat happens.
