Exhaust questions
Exhaust questions Need to pick an exhaust for my T70 5.3 build. What would work the best? Something like a Borla/Loudmouth or a downpipe with a muffler? Also would a 2.5 or 2.25 crossover be better? Shooting for 15 psi and over 500rwhp

I'll tell you what my plan is. I have the standard fbody magnaflow catback that was always relatively quiet even with LTH's. Doing this turbo build i decided to get a DMH e-cutout and have it welded on the DP then fit to the catback. My hope is to keep it very quiet, but then let it rip with the cutout open. I agree with a saying that "no exhaust is the best exhaust for a turbo car".
I guess it all depends on what you want to go with.

i definitely would not run a open dp my car with 4in dp with a dynatech spiltflow muffler is still pretty loud
i would say probably as loud as gils car until wot then my car is much louder , to kinda give you an idea
