Default Few pics of the tt Camaro at shootout

I snapped these pics so you could see the setup. he said these are t-60 turbos. I think this is a one off custom kit done at RP Motorsports here in Ga.
He said it dynod 770hp...it ran like 10.30ish at 136 I think....supposedly around 3500lbs race weight.

definitely pretty.... i have a graph of it making 732rwhp/714rwtq on 11psi through a cut-out. The kit retails for $17k. It's on a 382ci engine.

oh.. the boost was limited to 11psi because they were waiting on a larger fuel pump.

he he yea.... i had to e-mail the guy back because i thought he had made a typo.

11psi on a 382?
yup... here's the e-mail

We just dynoed our tt382.We were only able to run 11psi until we put a
larger pump in it.The red run is through a stock ss exhaust and the blue run
is through the cut-out.

I would think even from underneath it would be almost impossible. The exhaust pipes going into the turbo has to be there. Ohh well not my car.

I'd be pissed if I dropped $17k and only ran 10.3 @136. But not as pissed as the guy I heard about who was bragging about his Lingenfelter TT Vette that he spent $60k on and ran an 11.8

So what do you think a 11psi 382 should run in lets say a 3200lb car?

11psi and a 382 assuming all the bolt ons in a 3200lb car, It should be a mid 9 sec car. I make a 575/620 in a 3320lb car and went 6.37. (which should equate to a high 9)JMO though, Mine was on the bottle. I am in the process of building a T76 setup with my car weighing in at 3100lbs. Hope to see some low 9's

Is that $17k including the block buildup? I hope so. Nice for the bling factor but not the $17k worth of 11psi.

I bet that 17K includes everything. engine, clutch, turbos, install, tuning, rear etc.
It adds up quick!

Hell yeah it does

But i'm guessing that's just the turbo kit, ya gotta make some money on stuff like that and 17K for all of it is not much profit.

i could see engine combo and turbo, but it was probably just the turbo set up/install

figure
engine 6k
rear 2k
clutch .7k
tunning .5k
fuel 1k
thats $12000 right there so the turbo kit would only be 5k? not hardly.

6+2+.7+.5+1 = 10,200.. ......leaving 6800 for the turbo set up...

unless that happens to be a guinnea pig shop car and 17k is what it cost to do at wholesale price without install figured in
