head ideas
head ideas i have a set of oem casting 853 heads with a mild port job and bigger valves and springs and a procharger p1sc-1 on my SS along with cam and all the usual bolt ons and my compression is near stock due to the porter relieving the chambers after he decked the heads.
im thinking of buying a pair of bare aftermarket heads and swapping my current valve train onto them.
have any of you guys been in a similar position and what did your before and after results look like and what heads did you go with?
if im running 10 lbs of boost with an intercooler and e85 what would be the ideal compression ratio / chamber size to order and would that change much if i went up to 12 lbs?
