Best Intake Elbow For FI? Need help findin the best intake elbow for my Vic jr high Hp.
I don't want to cut my hood, what are my options?
Does intakeelbows.com fit with out cutting? I have a stock WS6 hood

You need to notch the cowl a bit, but yes it will fit umder the hood. I went with the ultra low profile , kt gave up 14 NA on engine dyno, the loss with boost on a straightforward app shoult be negligable

you are really risking your engine from what I've read what you are building...a low profile elbow is going to cause serious distribution issues
ditch the hood, get something taller to accomodate a better elbow.
FWIW, I had a fairly tall wilson cast elbow with a smooth transition and still had major distribution issues...we're playing with stuff to help with that but its gonna require an even taller setup that'll require a 4" cowl at a minimum...

ditch the hood, get something taller to accomodate a better elbow.

what intake manifold are you using?

Well edelbrock makes an elbow that's like 7" to the cl of the tb opening and I'm not sure about intakeelbows as far as what they carry. The only problem is I'm not sure if the edel. Unit will clear a 4" vfn hood...when I get home I will have to take a few measurements to see.
