Default Eboost2 meth control--asks for a resistor type relay?

Im not really good when it comes to this stuff. Id like to ditch the hobbs switch and run the meth activation through my Eboost2. In the instructions The eboost2 asks for a resister type automotive relay. "This circuit can be used to control a resistor type automotive relay with a maximum current draw of 2 amps." Now I have a normal 40a relay that I got with my NX nitrous system a while back. Would this work or be too much? It says that normal relays interfere with the eboost and I don't want to blow my boost controller. I was planning on running a 12v wire on one end and the eboost2s white wire on the other as the ground signal.(it applys ground to power the solenoid)

Regular relay is fine. I called them about this and they just use that to describe a automotive relay in AUS.
