I feel your pain... on 1 effing E85 station in Los Angeles

E85 is the ****. If you can get, do it. It is safer than pump, you can eliminate the meth and you will be ale to tolerate more timing for more power. There is no single value that I am aware of that would allow you to switch in the tune. It will require a complete re-tune.

You can ballpark it by chaning the stoichiometric value in HP Tuners and EFI Live (found under 'Mixture' in EFI Live) to 9.6 to 10.0 depending on the estimate ethanol content (yes, it's different in many places). If you are just looking to have a safer fuel you don't really have to molest your PE/VE tables that much (if any). If you are looking to take FULL advantage of the power benefits, you should re-tune. I've been running e85 since 2006 exclusively.

Im assuming your not running FI? ^^^ Thats a lot of bs imho. My car needed around 25% more on the ve tables in spots.

If you are not changing out injectors and your tune was correct before and the only thing you are doing is changing to E85 than it's not BS. That single change will take care of a majority of the necessary fueling adjustments. The other VE changes should be relatively small and the timing adjustments would be obvious.

I ended up adding about 40% to the VE table, messing with the PE multiplier, and leaving the stoitch alone. Couldn't get it to run right with the lower stoitch. I'm running 1 bar MAF at 16psi so it's a botch anyway, but it's super crisp, and AFR is where I want it.

Is E85 alright to run with a stock tank? Ive heard mixed things about this regarding it eating a tank up. I have Lonnies dual pumper kit with SS lines.

I just put my truck back on 91 oct today getting ready to head out to Ca. Major power loss in and out of boost. Only plus is truck idles smoother cold. Sounds like a Top fuel dragster on cold start up with the E85.

I am strongly considering an E85 tune on my current build. The station about 2 miles down the road from my place has E85. I still don't know if I should run 80, 95, or 120 injectors though. Currently I have 60's and know they won't be enough. Also I wonder if any of the mail order tuners will have an E85 base tune to get me started.

What kind of fuel lines are yall running to withstand the E85? I have been reading that you need SS but I cant imagine that everyone here has done that.
Thanks
