Default A/W intercooler and whats needed?

Hi everyone im new to the fi seen, but know alot about it. I have a 2001 trans am and was going to run a A/A intercooler but really dont want to cut the bumper or sacrifice the fogs. So I was wondering would an A/W intercooler work? I know ill need the intercooler, heat exchanger and a Ewp. I will be pushing about 8 psi on an 04 ls1 with 317 heads and a gt2-3 cam with all supporting mods. Any input or advice would be great.

You can do A/A and keep your fogs. It would be a hell of a lot easier than doing a whole A/W setup.

saw my name in here but by the time i got to the end i lost track of the concern

you can make as much boost as you want on pump gas, its the torque you make that will cause the problem. this is somewhat dependent on compression and VERY dependent on cubes.

Get a reservoir that's at least 4 gallons and a large exchanger really helps to keep temps down on the street. Also a submergable bilge pump like a shurflo or rule that flows at least 600gph...just my opinion but a good measure to build your system off of.
