Hey guys LOL
Well,,, I traded a buddy of mine my APS TT kit off of my 35th LE with LG turbos for his Incon TT kit which happened to have a brand new set of Garrett GT35R turbos and it also had a (brand new) (never installed) full set of the black (shinny) upgraded Incon hoses that Incon made right before they went under, that he had put away for a rainy day i guess lol .THIS Incon tt kit also had the (thicker) intercoolers too. My forged 364 just never quit ran as good after upgrading to the LG turbos even after a retune? She still made 650RWHP on 12 psi but just really didnt seem to have that crisp throttle response that i was looking for that she use to have with the smaller stock APS turbos before they went on me? . I guessing they were just a tad to big for my CI.My ride now is so freaking responsive and torquey that i now wished i would have never sold my uninstalled Incon kit that i had some years back that i sold right after buying it to buy the APS kit when it first came out
Just figuired ide show you guys a few pics of my NEW girl!LOL I couldnt be happier My buddy is building a 427 and these LG turbos should really come to life now for him .It worked out for the both of us

If I remember right, I believe the extra pulley is his belt drivin fuel pump.
That kit looks great on there Barnat.. Get a good tune on it and you will have some impressive numbers.. Mines good for 730rwhp at 18psi

You are correct I remember him talking to me about it. Had a great conversation one night about these Incon kits. And he explained the new scavenge pump he put together.

Hmm..ok Ed. I guess its nice to be able to run the Gt35Rs they are of course a BB turbo the LG are not. I still also think tuning could have helped a lot. Anyway its done so don't matter now.
My car is not up maybe be a few more weeks but could be month or so since have to go on vacation mid june thru july 2 or so.
I was waiting for exhaust manifolds and turbo exhaust housings to come back from coater which is in another city. They are done now and can proceed with getting the new engine put together and in the car and running. I never ran the lg turbos on my 408 just the aps standard ones. They spooled super fast on the 408 ,maybe too fast. LOL Traction was hard to come by. But never tracked car just streeted it on toyo drag radials. Never tried my et street radials out. Engine died near end of season before had chance to track car on the et street radials that bought.
My standard aps didn't die but one was internally cracked so had to run oil cooling only no water cooling. Not the best thing but it worked but of course will be running the LG water and oil cooling.
Anyway as long as Barnat is happy with his new setup thats all that matters. Tom is doing great with his obviously. I would be more than pleased to do a high 9 and his mph with low boost on my new motor. I have no desire to be a super fast track car just a fun street car and it was fun with just the 408 and 7.5psi on the stock turbos. But wanted better reliability didn't trust the stock turbos and since had to pull 408 out anyway since it died might as well go bigger cubes as same time. Think the 427 should work good and spool up the LG turbos nice and fast.
Looking forward to hearing more from both you guys.

Why the cheap BOV's?
Twin Tial's or Turbosmarts would look and perform WAY better.
IMHO, For what you've built the car for, either kit would have taken you where you wanted to be. It's all about proper sizing. Whether a street car or full on race, properly sized tubing, turbocharger(s), and engines are crucial. Turbo "lag" is a thing of the past with the proper components.
