Default Best turbo size for lt1

I am gonna do a rear mount turbo setup on my stock 94 z28. Im aware stock internals are weak and will eventually fail but I wanna run 7 psi and see how long she lasts. Any knowledge or suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks!

There's plenty of sponsors on here, and if ur serious about it, they could spec u out a turbo perfect for ur setup.
I wouldn't say " I want to run 7 psi "
Come up with a power number

I wanna run lowest boost possible that creates the least amount of stress on the internals and im shooting to gain 100/125 hp.

Another vote for MP T70, stay away from ebay turbos, a T70 is in the classifieds for 500 right now

Modular turbo has good turbos for a good price. Go with them. Don't waste 300 bucks and have to do it twice.

I agree on the MPT70 or maybe a MPT76, or Tnetics Tc76.

The MP T70 no longer exist, but I have a direct Magnum Performance replacement.

They are really ~60 mm and I used them twins are small for an Lt1, one for a rearmount is TINY. Try breathing through a straw that will be how your motor feels with an ebay 70.

A MPT70 will spool QUICK on an LT1. I would go larger a T76 with a P trim would be a great choice and give you growth for when you build motor

Good luck

Edit
1) and use a T4 flange so you have more choices T3 has fewer choices.
2) Q trim

Talk to Modular Turbo.

I WOULD go with MPT 76 with Q trim I typo'd in last post

http://modularturbo.com/storefront/p...products_id/33

BUT Rob will likely recommend smaller...if you stay SMALL a 70 is better but most of us go bigger and rearmount would love a Q trim....
