1969 Camaro convertible LS-2 6.0 TT
Thank you. It has been a long drawn out project, but nearing the end. I have been on a tight budget and trying to enjoy the car while finishing. Next is to upgrade the driveshaft and then head to the dyno and have Jim at Speed Inc do the fine tune, so we can up the boost a bit. Only running 5-6lbs right now.
Yes, I am still dragging my feet.... When you look up the word "Dyno" in the dictonary it says: The item used to break lots of parts on your car and cost you lots of money.... LOL
You know on a blow thru there is no air filter on top of the carb, But i bet people are going to ask you all the time if its a blow thru carb set up. That round air filter is going to get carb stuck in their heads. You could probably have alot of fun rambling about what you had to go thru getting that carb set right! hehe
props tho I think it looks really neat

Thank you. The intercooler was just a e-bay bought 2-in, 1-out. I didn't want to cut the core support up, so I welded a angle flange on the intercooler and mounted it to the inside of the core support(like the stock radiator mount). Then I made a aluminum tray that bolted to the lower section of the core support and the radiator sits in it on the stock rubber radiator cushions from a 70 Chevelle. I used the stock shroud mounting holes on top and bent a piece of aluminum to create a top support with the same cushions as the top. I will check and see if I have pics of it apart. I probably still have the cardboard templates I used for them. lol
For a fan, I used the Ford Taurus 2speed cooling fan and modified the shroud to bolt to the upper and lower rad supports. It is really close as far as clearance to the tip of the waterpump pulley, but has room for the air to flow. The car has a 185 thermostat in it, and it has never had the second stage of fan even come on. That fan moves a ton of air. If use the Taurus fan, just make sure your relays are large enough. I smoked a 40amp relay pretty quick and upgraded to a good 50 without any issues so far.
