Default Head build up

Take a set of bare 6.0L heads. What valvetrain components would you equip it with? I'm thinking while the heads are off, hardened pushrods, 918 springs, ARP head studs(or maybe bolts). I'm thinking stock rockers will hold up to 12 psi. How about new hydraulic lifters? How difficult and useful would a roller cam be on a blown car? I started a whole other thread about the gasket issue.

Your advice is really appreciated.

Usually the heads will come w/a double spring, my TEAs did, I would get the pushrod deal, I'm still using the stock rockers, and I dunno where my PSI will be at, a lot higher then 12..........I will eventually go yella terras

If you are going to do a cam now, get something that you plan to put in your future motor.....it will save time..........

i think your rockers will be fine, just get springs and pushrods.
and head studs. I go with the hex head studs instead of the 12 point though, i hate my 12 points, the suck getting on and off.

Has anyone ever tried a home port job? Any super expensive special tools needed to do that? Or is it a combination of know how and good old fashioned elbow grease? Shawn, who I bought the heads from, suggested that you can dremmel out material from the inside to give yourself the 74cc chambers. Question is what to dremel out? I figured if that's all it takes for the 74cc chambers maybe porting the valve ports is a similar feat. Perhaps someone could educate me if I'm way off base or not.
