d1sc 359 cam ?

So I have the d1sc going on a forged 359 cid engine. I'm down to picking a cam/having one made. So I have a short block capable of 8000 RPM N/A but I don't think my old 259/262 .730/.720 cam is right.

what am I looking at here? Maybe a 236/246 on 116lsa? That's roughly how big the Comp blower cams go to. By the way 9.5:1 compression ported 243 castings(flow an honest 318cfm at .600 lift 325 at. 700) looking for 700 at the wheels.

Give Bob at Brutespeed a call his blower cam is a great choice I am running it in my 410" motor with a F1R.

Thanks Bob! What kind of RPM limit am I looking at? Im new to the FI world can I assume the camshaft will still dictate the peak RPM of the motor. With respect to cid ofcourse.

You're welcome. Our cam peaks somewhere around 6200-6400 rpm, but that does depend on many variables. Bob
