Default 370ci e85 1100-1200rwhp

Real quick run down on build.

370ci all forged
e85
A2A
Dart 225s
TH400
M9
6800 rpm

Alright now im at the point where I need to order pistons so I need to decide what CR to run. And decide on a turbo so I can start mocking it up while the short block is being built. My goal is 1100 to 1200 rwhp. And i know going through that drivetrain its going to take a little more, but Thanks for all the help and input...

With E85 you can get crazy with compression. I would say atleast 11:1

You didn't say what block so I'm assuming a 6.0 iron. I don't see you getting to 1K+ hp with a 4 bolt block on e85 and it holding for any period. On my last motor I ran 9.25CR with a forged LS7 427, e85, M6, w/ported warhawk heads and they lifted at the 1000rwhp mark on the dyno. This was with a procharger but bottom line is 1Khp w/4 bolt block aint gonna hold for long-if at all.

It will have a plate and drivin a little but not so much a street car.. and @ 93formto98ta the heads and block will be o-ringed and from what I have read that's helped alot with lifting issues. Lsx bloxk is not out of the question and something I have thought about alot.

Are you up for going twins? For a single to make that much power you are going to be looking at a good 88, or a 91-94mm. Billet twin 67s would make that power with ease and room to grow.

I would keep compression around 10:1.

A GT55 based unit or the GT91 would definitely do the trick.

1.08A/R is the best mix for street and strip.
