turbo sizing help Ok Iv got a 383 stroker ls1. Im in the process planning my turbo kit with meth injection but i'm stuck on what turbo I should get. My goal is 700-800 at the tires. Can a t76 or a t78 support that much with out pushing the limits of the turbo? or should I go bigger?
There are many options out there and yes a 76 or 78 can do that, there are bigger turbos that will do it also.
It comes down to a few different things, how much room you have to mount it, how much money you have budgeted for it, and how you will be using the car.
Also some slight adjustments for your engine combo.

modular is correct. a 76mm or 78mm from a good manufacturer will make that power. On my 347 ls1 (Stock bottom end) ls6 heads, custom cam, forged pistons, forged rods at 15psi I'm making low 700s and there is breathing room left
