Default question if you installed your incon

I am putting mine together on the engine stand. Drivers side is fine. Passenger side LOOKS like the wastegate might hit against the block right by the starter. I can shave a little off there if necessary...its the long starter bolt boss where the interference is. i don't have my exhaust manifold gaskets yet but I am not sure if it will clear. Also, it looks like the turbo intake hose is kinda mashed down against the 45 degree section on the BMR k-member. Any advice or suggestions while it's on a motor stand and easy to access/modify? I don't really see any other issues. Oh...can you test the wastegats with a mighty vac....not sure what psi they are setup for.

If I remember correctly I had to do some clearancing there. It won't take much. The turbos can also be turned a little if needed. Which will move the actuator.
The inlet on the passenger side is a problem. Even with the stock k-member it gets smashed a little. I would cut the BMR k-member at more of an angle and then recap it. You can only do this if you have adj A-arms though. You will make the pocket to small for the stock one.
If you have any other questions you can email me.

Since I had to buy my own chras, comrpessor housing, etc. I tested fitted everything a few times made many modifications. To get the compressor housing outlet to clear the k-member I rotated it downward. This is not a problem for the silicon hose really. But doing this causes the mounting bosses on the compressor to hit the sheetmetal on the car. It also causes the actuator to be in a worse location for clearing the starter. To fix this I completely flattened the actuator bracket (got rid of the offset). Bracket/actuator will still hit the starter. So I then slotted the bottom whole about 1" long so that I could have adjustment. You will probably have to clearance the exhaust housing or the firewall or it will rub. I also had to significantly machine the exhaust manifold to get a spark plug socket on the last spark plug. Infact I ended up machining down the socket until it about 1/8" thickness, and it still barely fits. My manifolds probably just did not get the a final machining or something.

On the driver side had problems with too extreme a shaft angle on the actuator, due to the position of the compressor housing. I ended shiming the actuator bracket with a few washers. This may not a problem on the rest of the kits because I had to purchase a TO3 housing and machine it to fit. This housing may have had a slightly different bolt pattern.

hmmmm....good info. it will be nice to do all this NOW on an engine stand or sitting on the k-member rather than in the car. It took me awhile to get the pasenger actuator to operate smoothly but it is now. I may rotate the compressor housing to get k-member intake clearance and maybe slot the wastegate mount holes to keep everything lined up. I'll check plug clearance as well.
