I cracked a ring or ring land on e85.. not sure which one, never pulled it apart. #7 was at 90 psi and the rest were at 150.. car made 618/695 on 12 psi for over 40k boosted miles.. this was a stock ls6..

Cylinder walls only wear out prematurely if you run it too rich.

I run 12.0:1 (gas wideband) with E85 on all my stuff and customer cars and have never had cylinder wall issues.

Also to answer the OP I have seen bent rods and lifted heads more than anything else with E85.

It is hard to make it knock if you are doing it right.

PS keep timing slightly retarded at peak torque and keep your stock motors around for awhile.

Your story gives me hope. 546/506 on 10 psi and bone stock LS1. Conservative tune to try and make it last. Not a turbo but a D1 Procharger.

That happened to me last month.
A vacuum line came off the wastegate and made 45psi, needless to say I immediately lifted the head and blew out 2 freeze plugs.

Lost some thrust bearings in TH400 applications. I have tuned several stock bottom end turbo cars on E85 running 14-20+lbs, havent lost anything yet but a little water on stock headbolts/gaskets.
