anyone here ever hurt an e85 engine?
I run 12.0:1 (gas wideband) with E85 on all my stuff and customer cars and have never had cylinder wall issues.
Also to answer the OP I have seen bent rods and lifted heads more than anything else with E85.
It is hard to make it knock if you are doing it right.
PS keep timing slightly retarded at peak torque and keep your stock motors around for awhile.
