Default Single or Twins and what size?

HEy Guys

I am looking for alittle help with choosing a turbo or turbos.

I have a 99 firebird that is getting a
Aes 390
trick flow 220 as cast heads
comp 224/224 cam
ls6 intake

4l80 trans with a yank pye 3600 stall

12 bolt or 9 inch with 323 gears.

I am not looking to build a all out race car but would like to put down 800 -900 rwhp without much lag. I will only see the track a few times a year. I did get a transbrake but most of the time I will be cruising on the street and I would want it to build boost off the foot brake easily and have it come in real quick even if It took alittle off the top.
I can go single or twin turbos . I will be using truck manifolds for the build. What do you guys think would work the best for me with what I am looking for ?

thanks

Need to know what kind of compression you are gonna have. A PT88 may be good for that setup. Or a gt88-91 for a budget.

Do a single GT91. Lots of room for more power down the road.

X275 PT88 on E85 since you will have 9.9 CR. I would say 1000whp wouldn't be out of the question with this combo.

I have had twin 6262's and they are insta-spool and will meet your power goals easily....i upgraded to 6765's and they also spool real quick and will give you plenty of "room to grow" because it is never enough. The 6765's would be my vote if you decide to go twins. Best of luck

^ I was going to say 6265s or 6765s. It'd be a ton of fun to drive.

Based on the last part up their, i also vote Twin 6765s. I always vote for "room to grow"

SO this is where the 4l80e is going, i was hoping it was going in the GTO, lol

Would there be a big difference between the 6765`s and say a set of turbonetics 67`s? or even a mp 70 which are supposed to actually be smaller ? Im not trying to be cheap but if they would be simular I dont mind saving a few bucks.

Also what a/r would I go with? I was looking at .81 for faster spool times.

Thanks again

That was the original plan but the guy that was supposed to buy my motor from the gto was just wasting my time so I picked up a roller to put the new motor and trans in. **** the gto is fast enough already.
