I am a little confused on the difference between a procharger big red race valve open version vs. a procharger big red race valve closed version. What exactly is the difference. Do they both vent to the atmosphere or is the closed version basically a by pass valve.

The closed one is usually rerouted back into the intake piping. Its quieter when routed that way.

Thanks that's what I thought but I couldn't find any literature stating that is in fact what it does. So the difference is the open vents straight to atmosphere and the closed vents back into the front of the system.
