Now the heads you have are going to be the wrong core pieces to start, they will lift enough to loose you gasket seal and your motor will overheat in two blocks if you live home quickly, sorry to say but your quickest way here is to sell your heads now and go with minimum 5/8 thick deck heads, best yet, if you don't want to be restricted, just get the 3/4 thick deck heads, with 6 bolts per cylinder, then just have some body weld the receiving threaded bungs to the block, bingo you have a boost ready combination, if you have a lq4 or lq9 they are very easy to convert to 6 bolts, and i can help you with every thing you need, plus the info, all you need to do is to get somebody to weld it for you, if you don't know, i have the welding rods needed for the job, the bungs and a special 2" grinding wheel needed for the inner studs nuts clearance, i have all these things left over from my previous lq9 boosted build wish i converted to 6 bolts, i converted the heads as well, but is a lot of work for the heads conversion, to do the block all you need is the GM lsx 6 bolts head gasket to guide in placing the bungs for the studs, LMK, the stuff i have will cost you minimum. I know this is hard to swallow but i say ask those who know, like head porting chops and racers, you need to avoid the school of hard knocks, from the get go. It will be a heck of a lot shipper to avoid trouble and just go to the point, armed with the rite core pieces from the beginning. Best regards, Dave.
