to bore or not to bore? Cam choice
Hey all, so after much debate if i wanted to sell or not ive decided to keep my LS6 stang. Right now the car is a nitrous car. This winter i WILL be converting to turbo. So first thing i need to decide what pistons to go with. I always wanted the car to be a 408 but im curious is it a good idea to do a 408 and boost with stock block? Or should i do something a bit less like a 370,383 ect ect... My goal with the car is 700+ rwhp through a TH400.
Next question would be my cam, right now the car has a TREX cam. Any thoughts on this being used for boost or should i go with something like a z06 cam for boost?

It is better to keep the sleeves thick (stock ish bore) with the aluminum blocks because they are stronger that way. Just run a little more boost to compensate for the smaller displacement.
People have made more than 700 fairly easily on the stock bore.
