on a LS1, whats the limits of a MAF, and when is a SD tune neccessary?

im kind newish on the EFI and computer deal, so im trying to learn what i can, im building a 346-7 LSx with a turbo. possibly a 80mm or so, i would like 700whp, so i need to know what works, and what is easiest, or what is best or recommended.

There have been a million threads in the tuning section about this. For a more detailed explanation do a search over there.

If you are asking about the application in your sig with a 2002 or older fbody or truck computer, you'll want an SD tune.

I ran 700 rwhp for years with a MAF tune. There are a lot of ways to skin a cat.
