Default intercooler choices

hey wussup guys what other brands of intercoolers is there besides griffin that are good to use. Looking for one for my turbo build in my sig.

Spearco, Bell, Precision, Treadstone, CRX racing, Garrett and Chiseled are what I know of off the top of my head.

thanks. I was looking at one from cxracing 31x12x4 would this be ok to get. It doesnt say anything about the horsepower rating tho.

i ran one of the cxracing i/c's. they are not bad for the price. at the track iats would start around 100 and end at 140. once i installed a meth kit iats would go as low as 70. recently in 100* ambient temps iats would be in the 90s with meth.

alky control kit. i run 100% meth.

i was running 19-20psi.

That's the one I'm running (and many others), and it should be sufficient for the majority of power levels.

To give you an idea of size/fitment...this is with a bracket I made.

Evo462is that the cxr intercooler. Did u have to make the bracket. And thanks again for the hotside kit.

Yes, that's the 31x12x4 CXRacing intercooler. I made the bracket myself using 1x1" square tube and bar stock.

same cx racing. im right around 600 rwhp, ill see about a 15-20 degree rise in temps at the end of a full pass on a 90 degree day, im satisfied

Well i think im going to pull the trigger on that intercooler. Now is that 15 to 20 degree temp rise with u using meth or no meth

Tally, is your intercooler part number IC0023 on cx's website? I like that setup with the square tubing.
