Default bad placement for oil return pump?

currently have oil leaking out of turbo after shut down, was assuming was bad seals in turbo (paid $50 used from friend to just test fit) this is my set up i got (its rough so bare with me as its still being build/re worked) do u guys think its turbo related or is my pump in a bad spot? or something else, thanks!

I'm no rear mount expert but that looks bad on a few levels.

Turbo looks way low. Return line diameter looks small. Pumping into the valve covers sounds like a bad idea due to positive pressure already being up there and if it's not vented, you gotta be pushing oil into the intake. Then there is the issue of having to pump that high.

-10 from the turbo to the pump and something similar to the valve cover that i drilled and tapped a hole into.

having the turbo lower than the pump is going to limit the pump's effectiveness since it has to pull uphill.

do you have a check valve on the oil feed?

Drain needs to be at least -10 that looms like 6. And ir turbo is way to low.

turbo wise its basically as high as i can get it with out puttin it through the gas tank

the lines are more cleanly ran and higher then they look in this pic cause its on a 90 degree and not 45

i have the proper check vavle in feed line, and yeah its -10 return

and jax04 i have to say i like the way u did ur kit, didnt think about mounting it like that, dont think i have the room under mine to do something like this but

all being said ive been driving the car on a daily basest now for the last 2 days to see how its doing, it seems like its not leaking any oil anymore after the restrictor i put in and all, giving it till tomm when i get off earlier and have more time to mess with it and double check EVERYTHING and taking it up to tuner to get it "professionally" looked over (another set of eyes on the whole thing and car make sure its good to go) and then dyno it, waiting on my exhaust tubing to come in so i can properly run it out the pass rear exit.

do yall feel on my set up, just sticking a filter like that on the turbo is ok? or should i try to get it ran some were else, if so were would u recommend? thanks!

o and i get my new phone tomm so ill get pics of the updated kit!
