Very very nice mannow you will be rewarded for the hard work you put in all this time. The bay looks amazing. This was on pump gas + meth? I know you did yourself some justice by porting the 317's. I rode the lazy bus and put them in as is.

Thanks man! Yea, this setup was made for low compression and high boost....with the -22cc dish and 70cc chambers on the heads and MLS gasket, it is about 8.5:1. Timing was I believe 16* at max torque. And yes, 93 and meth is getting it done for me right now. AFR is spot on and my injector duty cycle was about 70% on the 970 pull, so at least I know my fuel system is capable of keeping up.

Man that's pretty inspiring! I have the .51 mls gaskets, 70cc heads and -20 cc wiseco's and I came up with 9.3:1. Since I'm only running 16 lbs max, I guess that's a good ratio. But I thought it would be pretty close to yours ?? None the less, it is definitely a work of art. Sounded mean on the dyno too

Great build. Congrats on the numbers. Love the full exhaust out the back, plan on doing that with mine as well. If I read correctly, you're not running mufflers? Just straight all the way back?

Thanks man! And yes, the exhaust all the way out the back was the only way I wanted to go. The Kooks kit is super nice...it took a pretty good amount of finessing to get the fitment just right, but turned out awesome. And as for the mufflers, yea, there are none on it. I asked for them to make it that way and they did it no problem. The kit comes with some Magnaflow mufflers on it and I personally have never been a huge fan of those, so I had them just put straight pipe in place of it. I love the sound my truck makes with the cutout open and I wanted something similar. Also, the turbo's knocked a lot of the sound down, so they are my mufflers in this case

Awesome results. Its great to see it all come together. Taylor is the Da Man

Now shake the little bugs that pop up from a fresh build and enjoy it.

I think what ended up being really cool was being able to fit the factory washer tank in that spot. The fog lights where also a nice touch. Great Fab work... You should be happy and proud.

Thumbs up

Went over to Dallas Performance and saw Taylor and the gang yesterday. They were the ones finishing up my exhaust and tuning it for me. Like I told Taylor, I've tuned a lot of NA vehicles, but with as much money and time I had wrapped up in this build, I'd let my pride take a back seat to make sure I didn't screw something up.

Needless to say, results are freaking awesome. I'll get some additional pics today when I go to pick it up.

But what all Dallas Performance did for me:

- Fixed my new 6 piston brakes (felt like the caliper was locked up originally, but they got it worked out)
- Installed Kooks True Dual 3" Kit minus the mufflers (purchased from Bob at Brute Speed - which is awesome to work with by the way)
- Fabricated the exhaust to mate from the downpipes to the Kooks exhaust (there was a lot of work on this as I didn't go the usual route of beside the motor mounts back due to my turbo drains being on each side, so we got crafty and went through the outside of the K-member on each side and maintained the full 3" diameter all the way out without having to squish any pipes down)
- Ceramic coated the exhaust manifolds, hot side, and downpipes to the K-member (knocked the under hood heat down a TON)
- Installed my Alky Control meth kit (big thanks to Julio as well, great guy)
- Some miscellaneous odds and end things
- Last but not least, tuning the whole setup

Results are as follows:

- 550 rwhp on 6 psi
- 700 rwhp on 10 psi
- 900 rwhp on 18 psi
- 970 rwhp on 20 psi

Taylor said that last one was heat soaked pretty bad since he was doing back to back runs, so I might have clipped 1000 had it cooled down...but I'm just fine with where it's at now. I could turn it up more, but keeping the hand ported 317's from lifting off of it right now is a good thing

Looking forward to bringing it back home today and getting some good pics of the exhaust all coated up!

Here's some pics of the exhaust work uncoated as well as some misc shots. Trying to upload my video right now but it's like 300 MB and my weak little ISP service is taking it's sweet time, so I'll get it on here later.

Thanks, I appreciate it! You have an awesome build, really cool! Bob

Thanks David, always admired your builds as well. And thanks for the help too back in the day, chatting through part decisions. Good luck with your sale btw also, hate to see you let go of the car, but I've no doubt you'll come back with something else that's a beast.

And thanks again everyone else as well!...I should have some dyno graphs up here in a day or two...just waiting on the shop to email them over.

Car looks great! It's giving me incentive to finish my 408 twin 67mm build. How is spool up on the street and how are you liking the 3.00 gear with 26" tires and the 4l80e?
